Albanese Builders is proud to announce the completion of our most recent green home in Delray Beach, FL. The home as earned certification by the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) through the implementation of a comprehensive green strategy that focuses on energy-efficiency, waste and water reduction, and enhancing indoor environmental quality. The home is located in a 5 lot development that is intended to be both green in the homes built and the development as a whole. Overcoming the challenge of the high initial cost premium associated with green building, we were able to achieve a green certification within budget and incurring only a 3% premium above general construction costs.
